Observing each and every sound and gesture your babe makes will provide you more insight into what babes are attempting to communicate.
The sweet video has captured toddlers:
Reaching arms straight out towards another babe that has something...
"Can I have a turn?"
Making sounds after receiving a toy..."thank you"
Shaking their entire body side to side to say.."no"
Using a whole body & arm to throw...
Exploring items by mouthing to figure out the properties of the item...
Trying to pass an item to another toddler that is not accepting, will look towards an adult for assistance...
Leaning forward into another toddler's space may want to show affection

Simple items that are part of the family gathering..bags and plastic eggs.
The automatic interest between cousins leading the exchange.
Referencing each other with the materials in the middle.
Let's start with this child lead moment without an adult's idea of managing the play. The age appropriate concepts start with eggs going "in and out" of the bag and the confidence that they are in control of this learning.
I'll keep replaying and adding my observations and narrate how I view it from an Early Interventionist's point of view..lovelove
